The Doctrinal Topics Related to the Closeness of Almighty Allah and the Closeness of the Angels in the Qur’an –Compilation and Study

Abstract

Importance of the Research: Studying the topic of nearness in the Qur'an is related to the Oneness of Almighty Allah in His Names and Attributes, which is the greatest and most honorable of all sciences. Nearness is mentioned in many places in the Qur'an, each with its own meaning and rulings. The nearness of the angels is mentioned in multiple places, some of which have resulted in disagreement among Sunnis.

Research Objectives: The research aims to clarify what is meant by the nearness of Almighty Allah to His servants and His angels, as well as to clarify what is meant by the nearness of the angels to the human and their relationship with them during this closeness.

Research Plan: The research consists of an introduction, a preface, two chapters, a conclusion, and scientific indexes.

Research Findings: Almighty Allah has singled out some of His servants for His closeness to them and their closeness to Him. This closeness is of various types, each with its own ruling and meaning. This closeness is attained by the servant—after Allah's grace—by exerting legitimate means, such as frequent worship, supplication, and prostration to Almighty Allah.
