Vision 2030 of Saudi Arabia aims for economic sustainability by advocating for the preservation of capital and diversifying income sources. The Saudi government has been working to encourage foreign investors to invest in the country, putting in place various regulations and controls to ensure that these goals are achieved while protecting investors' rights. To do this, foreign investors must adhere to a set of rules and restrictions, especially concerning their dealings in the Saudi Capital Market Authority, as stated in the Foreign Investment System and the regulations of the Saudi Capital Market Authority and the related circulars. The research concluded that the Saudi regulator requires foreign investors, whether individuals or corporate entities, to comply with the provisions in the laws and regulations concerning investment in the stock market.
