Abstract

This study aims to set a conceived proposal to stimulate the partnership between the University of Qassim and productive enterprises under the requirements of the development plans. Therefore, to achieve this goal, the researcher prepared a field study, answered by 220 of the respondents, one of the main results, the differing views on the reality of the partnership was for the benefit of leaders and university experts, and there is agreement between this two parties on the process of stimulating the partnership. On the other hand, there are some obstacles, the most important: shortcomings in the legislation, laws, strategic plans and partnership contracts, also there is some weakness in the field of scientific research, multidisciplinary quality and training of university cadres to meet the needs of labor market, moreover there are some deficiencies in offering incentives and funding the joint projects & student scholarships. The study concluded to set a conceived proposal to stimulate the partnership, also to a range of proposals, one of them preparing a study on the partnership between the university and the education departments in the Qassim region.
