Personality Features of the Islamic Preacher

The summary: The Islamic religion approach came at refinement the Islamic character in moderate one and clear path. Since the appearance of this moderate religion itdeterminedthe aspects of the Muslim's personality wither his belief, conception, worship, or mannerbased on the holly book of Allah (Quran) and the way or Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him). In addition, it drew its features and established its pillars. However, the Islamic preacher has to have an Islamic personality which is balanced and stabled in its behavior towards events and people. Though, his attitude must becorresponding to the law of Allah (Glorified and Sublime be he). In that, the Islamic preacher's character is a central one; people accept Islam from him and by him also they might indisposeIslam. Therefore, the Islamic preacher must have an Islamic personality which is perfect, stable, and balanced in its matters. Because, it is the proof of the credibility of what he belongs to, his commitment to it, and his strength of sticking to it. That is why there is an extreme impact on the success of the missionary activity or its failure through the Islamic preacher's personality in its strength and weakness. Therefore, the target of this research is to emphasize the basic characteristics of the missionary personality. Yet, among these main features are fideism, scientism, education, skillfulness, and behaviorism. As well as the essential fundamentals that it is based on these features, decide the personality's quality or type, determine its identity and its behavioral impact out of human self, to assure the necessity of gaining these features by the Islamic preacher and characterize them with interest. That is the Islamic preacher does not represent himself but the religion he belongs to.
