Climate and fruits Agriculture in Tihama plain - Jazan Province

Abstract

The climate of Tihama plain in Jazan Province is characterized as a favorable environment for tropical fruits Agriculture. The main objective of this study is to clarify and illustrate the relationship between climate and its impact factors on tropical fruits Agriculture in Tihama plain. The study concludes that climate in Tihama plain is suitable for planting tropical fruits such as mango. papayas guavas pineapple. It's clear that the wind is the most climatic factor influence the fruits production- especially in the phase maturity due to damage and loss fruit before maturity, through the summer months which is characterized by increasing of speed rates of wind the production of fruit become less than the produc- tion of the rest months
