منهج ابن الملقن في عرض القراءات في كتابه التوضيح لشرحا لجامع الصحيح ومصادرة فيها

Abstract

This research is an attempt to highlight the efforts of one of Hadith's scholars in the field of Qira'at who is named Al Hafez Serag Al Din Omar Bin Ali Bin Ahmad Al Ansari Al Shafayi who is known as Ibn Al Mulqan (may Allah be merciful to him). Thus, the title of the research will be named: Al Qira'at (readings) in Al Tawdeeh for the explanation of Al Ga'me' Al Sahih (The Clarification for Explaining the Compiler of Authenticated Hadiths".

The research contains a preface which includes the following:

Defining Al Qira'at Science (readings) and its Branches and Sections. Then, identifying Al Imam Ibn Al Mulgan and his book. Also, giving a small hint on Sahih Al Bukhari and his distinctive book. Followed by two Chapters include the following:

The first chapter is about Ibn Al Mulgan's book. The second chapter is about the sources from which he has transmitted Al Qira'at. The research has concluded with the following results:

• Hadith's Scholars have cared about the science of Qira'at and their efforts in this field have been recorded as: reception and uunderstanding, transmission, inference and deduction.
• Al Tawdeeh (Clarification) book has included quotations and transmissions of parts from the books of Qira'at and other books, some of these books are lost which make their compiling and study of significant importance.
• In his clarification, Ibn Al Mulqan has cited enormous numbers of Qira'at varied and ranged between acceptable to read and anomalous.
• The science of Qira'at is in need for more attention from the researchers and the students seeking religious knowledge because of its limited and few references in comparison with other sciences.
