Educational Characteristics of The Dialogue in The Holy Quran

This study aimed to elucidate the concept and the educational characteristics of dialogue in the Holy Quran through answering the following questions:
The first question: What is the concept of dialogue in the Quran?
Second question: What are the educational characteristics of the concept of dialogue in the Qur'an?
Researchers used content analysis approach for the verses which are related to dialogue in order to get a good understanding of the concept and the educational characteristics of dialogue. However, the study revealed the following results:
- The idea of dialogue in the Quran based on the idea of the message of Islam and inviting people to believe in it.
- There are multiple divisions of the dialogue in the Holy Quran.
- Holy Quran Keens on a set of morals which lends an appropriate atmosphere for dialogue.
- Dialogue in the Qur'an take multiple forms as: legislative dialogue, descriptive dialogue, narrative dialogue, and dialectical dialogue.
- There are a number of obstacles that prevent the continuation of the dialogue such as: mistrust, envy, pride, anger and provocation.
- The study showed a number of the educational characteristics of dialogue in the verses of the holy Quran are such as: the development of scientific thinking to search for reasons and causes and the causal relationships between them to get to the facts, the transition from the concrete to the abstract and from known to the unknown, thrill, initializing convictions gradually and create an atmosphere of accepting ideas. Etc.
- Researchers have recommended a number of recommendations including:
- Dissemination the culture of the Quranic dialogue in the society institutions.
- Taking the advantages of the using of dialogue's educational characteristics in the various educational institutions.
- Conduct complimentary studies to this study in other aspects.
