Differences in Job Satisfaction and Ability to Work Engagement for Saudi Women Working in the Retail Sector in Riyadh City

The research aimed at identifying the differences in job satisfaction and ability to integrate into Work Engagement for Saudi women working in the retail sector in Riyadh City. The sample consisted of (360) women working in the retail sector in Riyadh City. The researcher used the Job satisfaction Scale developed by Almoshawah ,( 2015).and context by researcher. The researcher also used the Work Engagement Scale in the work developed by (Schaufeli,Bakker & Salanova, 2006)) and to context by Al-Otaibi (2018). The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) in job satisfaction among Saudi women workers in the retail sector in Riyadh according to the age variable in favor of the age groups (25 years and under, 26-35 years, 46-55 years) Compared to the age group (56 years and over). Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in Work Engagement among the respondents according to the age variable in the dimension of dedication to the age groups (25 years and under) compared to the others age group. Moreover, the results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the degrees of retail workers, as attributed to the workplace at the distance of human relations within the work system. Finally, the results showed that strong positive correlation with statistical significance at the level of (0.01) between job satisfaction and Work Engagement at work among Saudi women workers in the retail sector in Riyadh.
