Arabic is the Language of Poetry A Study of Phonetic and Morphological Characteristics

This research aims to demonstrate the poetics of the Arabic language through its distinction by a set of phonetic and morphological characteristics. The importance of the study appears in that it reveals the effect of the phonetic structure and morphological meters of the Arabic language in revealing its poetics. This study, titled: (Arabic is the language of poetry, a study of phonetic and morphological characteristics) consists of an introduction, a preface, two sections, and a conclusion. The introduction dealt with the concept of poetics, and the first section dealt with the Phonetic characteristics, but the second section is for presenting the morphological characteristics.
The problem of the study is that it attempts to answer a main question from which several questions branch: Do the phonetic and morphological characteristics of the Arabic language have an impact on its poetics? Among the sub-questions: What is the effect of the diversity of vocal rhythm on Arabic poetry?
What is the relationship between morphology and prosody?
The most important results of the study: The Arabic language is distinguished by its phonetic and morphological systems containing phonetic groups and various morphological meters, which contributed to the formation of the rhythmic structure and thus it became a language of poetry.
