The Reality of Teachers with Learning Disabilities in Al-Ahsa Governorate Applying the Principles of Universal Design for Learning from Their Point of View

The study aimed to identify the reality of teachers with learning difficulties in Al-Ahsa Governorate applying the principles of universal design for learning from their point of view, and to achieve the goal of the study; A descriptive survey method was followed, and a questionnaire was used as a means of collecting data. The study sample included (47) teachers with learning difficulties. The most prominent results of this study were that the degree to which teachers with learning disabilities in Al-Ahsa Governorate applied the principles of universal design for learning, from their point of view, was moderate. The results also indicated that increasing the number of years of experience and the number of training courses in universal design for learning contribute to the reality of their application of the principles of universal design for learning. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the necessity of organizing training courses for teachers that focus on the teaching strategies necessary to apply the principles of universal design for learning. He also recommended the importance of preparing the classroom environment to be compatible with the principles of universal design for learning, and designing school curricula in accordance with the principles of universal design for learning.
