Death is the end of every living being on this earth. It is the wisdom of God that everything is subject to decay and that all things perish except for His face. It is also decreed by God's wisdom that a person takes nothing with them after death except for their deeds; their wealth is divided among their heirs, among whom is their wife. This research addresses the ruling on divorce, the legal rulings related to the divorce of a sick person in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the legal classification of the inheritance of a divorced woman in the event that her husband contracts the coronavirus. The study concludes with several findings, including: a divorced woman in a revocable divorce is unanimously recognized as deserving of inheritance due to the existing marriage, and she is considered a wife with the same status as other wives. A divorced woman in an irrevocable divorce, according to the prevailing opinion, is entitled to inheritance if her husband suffers from a terminal illness (COVID-19) and enters a state of distress that could lead to death, especially if the intention of the one who divorced her was to deprive her of her inheritance.
