For example, the social work code of ethics makes very specific mention of individuals, religious beliefs and practices. This paper focuses on religions' values and basic beliefs and their similarities with social work. Also, this paper discusses the impacts of religions' values and beliefs on social work practice. In conclusion, the paper highlights various harmonizations among social work and the five religions. Accordingly, it can be said that social work has a spiritual aspect that could enhance the professional practice.
