Abstract

The study aimed to identify the extent of practice by educational supervisors for the values contained in the guide of educational supervisor, and the study has been applied to all school principals totaling (80) principal, and about (60) completed a questionnaire has been restored ready for analysis. Intentional sample of teachers amounted to (250) teachers was selected, representing 13% of the study population totaling (1929) teacher. To achieve the objectives of the study the descriptive (analytical, surveying) approach was used. The results of the study showed that the educational supervisor guide (goals, tasks, and methods of educational supervision) may ensure (9) educational value, the number of its frequencies (104) frequency. The values of "responsibility" came first with frequencies (61) times, followed in second place by frequency of the values of cooperation (51) times, and at a rate (45.5%). The extent of the practice of supervisors of the values (responsibility) came much "medium" and the values of (cooperation) came much "medium", and that the degree of the existence of obstacles to the exercise of supervisors of the values contained in the educational supervisor guide came much "medium". Degree and methods, and procedures that will help to achieve the exercise supervisors values contained in the educational supervisor guide came largely "high." In addition to that there is no statistically significant differences between the views of managers of differences, and secondary school teachers about the practice of supervisors of the values contained in the educational supervisor guide due to the variables (qualification, years of experience, specialization), and no statistically significant differences between the views of managers of differences, and secondary school teachers about the practice of supervisors of the values contained in the educational supervisor guide due to the variable current work.
