Ego-Resiliency and Its Relationship With The Social Coping Strategies Among Students Of Faculty Of Education / Jazan University K.S.A.

The current study aims at investigating and exploring the nature of the relationship between the level of the relationship between the Ego-Resiliency and types of Social Coping Strategies among Students of Faculty of Education/Jazan University. Moreover, the study sample consisted of (90) students of Faculty of Education, whose ages are between 19-21 years, distributed to spectra of specialisms (30 students of Physical Education, 30 students of Art Education and 30 students of Special Education). Also, the average age of these students hits (21.01 years) with a standard deviation hits (1.245). Additionally, in the current study the researcher used two measures, the first one is a measure of "Ego-Resiliency" and the second one is a measure of "Social Coping Strategies".
The study came out of the following results:
- There is a positive statistically significant correlation between the level of and types of Social Coping Strategies among Students of Faculty of Education / Jazan University. Fittingly, those high in Ego-Resiliency are more users for the positive strategies rather than those of lower Ego- Resilience.
- The specialism neither affects significantly on the level of Ego-Resiliency nor on "Social Coping Strategies".
