The Extent to Which the Courses of My Immortal Language at Intermediate School in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Achieve the Criteria for Differentiated Instruction

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the extent to which the courses of my Immortal Language at Intermediate School in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia achieve the criteria for differentiated instruction. Using the descriptive analytical approach, the researcher prepared a list of differentiation criteria that should be included in the Arabic language curriculum at Intermediate School. It consists of (4) criteria including (21) standers.   The analysis card was applied to (79) objectives, (33) texts, and (410) educational activities as the analysis sample in (6) units of Arabic language curriculum. The results showed that: the percentage of achieving the objectives of the courses of my Immortal Language at Intermediate School in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the differentiated instruction was (20.68%), which is percentage indicating that the differentiated instruction criteria were not achieved in the objectives, the percentage of achieving the content of the courses of my Immortal Language at Intermediate School in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the differentiated instruction was (68.68%), which is percentage indicating that the differentiated instruction criteria were achieved in the content, the percentage of achieving the learning activities of the courses of my Immortal Language at Intermediate School in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the differentiated instruction was (14.84%), which is percentage indicating that the differentiated instruction criteria were not achieved in the learning activities, and the percentage of achieving the differentiation criteria for the courses of my Immortal Language at Intermediate School was 32.73%, which is percentage indicating that the differentiation criteria was not achieved in the courses of my Immortal Language at Intermediate School. The researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions in light of these results.
