Naturally, his sense of life changed in his old age so he feels week and low aspired, abandoned aspects of entertainment, life raptures and it's delight and adventures with women. the study investigated this change in the poer's life through what was manifested in his poetry and the aspects of this change The results that the study has reached indicates that the youth and old age phenomena in ibn mukbil poetry has a connection with his psychology so the old age appeared to be a real struggle for hem, as he suffered from the graying and its consequences resulting in weakness and neglecting from women, the poet distinction was that he imputes the grey hair in his head to the tragedies that he suffered and affected his soul, the poet connects the between the love and the youth. the imaging technique appeared to be a significant factor in displaying the poet misery derived from his environment
