Abstract

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon his trustworthy Messenger, whom he sent as a mercy to the worlds, and upon his family and companions altogether. As for what follows, the Prophet، may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not leave anything that is in the interest of the worshipers except that he urged them to do it, and nothing that harms them except that he warned them and forbade it, and from that is healing by cupping (Hijama), which is a type of medicines that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, urged and legislated in word and deed, as he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “"The best medicines you may treat yourselves with is cupping. "However, many hadiths were narrated regarding limiting it to specific times, and this limitation was stated by many scholars as being: “Nothing was correct in it. "This research is to trace and interpret these hadiths to know what is accepted and what is rejected from them, and to judge them so that they become a guidance for the cupper and the one who is cupped, and its named" (Hadiths about the timing of cupping, a hadith study).
