The Attitudes of the Secondary Students in the Region of Hail towards Contemporary Educational Concepts

This study aimed at identifying the attitudes of the secondary students in the region of Hail towards contemporary educational concepts and the statistical differences among these attitudes. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The sample of the study consisted of (420) male and female students who were randomly chosen according to the variables of gender, track in the secondary stage, type of school, and GPA.
The instrument of the study consisted of (69) items which were distributed on (10) domains: democratic education, continuing education, integrated education, creative education, technological education, environmental education, self-confidence. individual differences, self-learning, productive work and learning.
The findings of the study pointed out that the attitudes of the secondary students towards contemporary educational concepts were high in the domains of: continuing education and environmental education. The findings showed that the students' attitudes were average in the other domains. The results also showed that there were no statistical differences in the students' attitudes due to the variables of the study.
