The Effectiveness of Time Management Among the Principals of General Education Schools in Taif from The Perspective of Agents and Teachers

This study aimed to determine the degree of effective time management in the public schools in Taif managers from the perspective of agents and teachers. And the disclosure of the statistical differences between the average ratings of the agents and teachers to effective time management at schools managers in Taif due to the variables of the study (specialization, and the name of the function, educational level, the number of years of experience). And determine the degree of the presence of wasting time facing school administrators from the viewpoint of the agents and teachers. The study followed the descriptive analytical method where the study sample consisted of (181) agent and (361) teachers were chosen randomly stratified way, was built a questionnaire composed of 45 items distributed on two axes; the first measures the degree of effective time management consists of (31) spread over five dimensions of paragraph. (planning, organization, and authority, direction and control, and meetings and decision- making) and the second time wasting measure consists of (14) items. It was verified validity and reliability, and the results of the study indicated the following:
- That the degree of effectiveness of the high-time management with a mean (3.91), and came all the fields (high) ranged averages of (4.00 – 3.82), according to the following order: (direction and control, authorization, meetings and decision making, organization, planning).
- That the degree of the presence of wasting time medium with a mean (2.76) and was the most prominent of the large number of paperwork, surf the Internet and e-mail on an ongoing basis.
- Show a statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean study sample responses the degree of effectiveness of the time estimate their areas according to the variables of job title, for the benefit of agents, and the number of years of experience for the benefit of ten years or more.
- There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean study sample responses in assessing the effectiveness of time management. variable depending on the specialization and educational stage.
