Abstract

The study aims to identify the efficacy of a proposed strategy based on science teaching virtual laboratories for improving meta-cognitive skills and academic achievement in the subject of science for secondary stage students. A quasi- experimental approach is adopted to accomplish this aim. The tools of achievement test and meta-cognitive skills scale are applied on a population sample of(40) students of Riyad al-Fiqr Secondary School in Arar. The study findings reveal that students are incomparably enthusiastic to study the suggested strategy which improved their academic achievement in the subject of science
