This research aims to identify the effect of teaching science using the learn for use model on the developing of the higher thinking skills and the attitude towards cooperative work for third-grade intermediate students. for achieve this aim, the semi-experimental approach was used with the design of two groups, control and experimental, Pre and Post. The research consisted of (41) students at Asfal Hajla Intermediate School in Khamis Mushait, divided into two groups: one of them was experimental, (21) students who studied the third chapter (Activities and Operations in the Cell) from the (Fundamentals of Life) unit using the learn to use model and the second one was a control group of (20) students. I studied the unit in the usual way. The research tools "a test of high thinking skills and a measure of attitude towards cooperative work was prepared by the researcher" and were applied to the two groups before the start of the experiment and immediately after its completion, during the second semester of the academic year of 1444 AH. The results of the research revealed that there were statistical differences at the level of (0.05) between the scores of the experimental group and the scores of the control group students in the post application of the test of higher thinking skills and the measure of attitude towards cooperative work for the students of the experimental group. Also, there was a large effect of the learning for use model in developing the higher thinking skills in general, and the size of the effect of the medium on developing the attitude towards cooperative work as a whole among the students of the third intermediate grade, and this affected the model in the dependent research variables and thus some Recommendations and suggestions.
