Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing the factors that affect the quality of business colleges' outputs in five Saudi universities from students' perspectives, so that business colleges provide the added value they are required to contribute to the markets and the business environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The researcher used the descriptive method and collected the qualitative and quantitative data through in-depth interviews and an online questionnaire circulated to all students of business colleges, 611 of them completed the survey. Qualitative analysis and factor analysis were both used. The results showed that 16 factors, which constitute the administrative and educational factors, affect the quality of the outputs. These factors explain 62.7% of the total variance. Also, this study concluded that the most critical factors, according to the size of their effect, were as follows: professors' carelessness and failure to cope with their responsibilities, high prices and poor financial assistance, weakness of academic professional and personal counseling, weakness of the university libraries, typical and difficult exams, lack of effective training programs, inadequate timetables, unsatisfactory classrooms, poor teaching, inappropriate curriculums, poor building equipment and services, inappropriate timing of exams, traditional teaching methods, neglecting students' circumstances, misunderstanding of university regulations, and neglecting student complaints.
