Abstract

This research aims to trace the manifestations of religious values among Yemeni poets in later periods, and to considers these values as the spirit of ethics and human values derived from Islamic religious principles.

The time space of this research is limited to the late eras that spans om the late Abbasid era to the period when the Turks ruled the Arab-Islamic world, while the area limit includes the land of Yemen and the poets associated with it.     

This research uses the descriptive and analytical approach, through which some values can be identified and issues addressed by the poets can be observed, whether in terms of spiritual values in which the poet addresses to his Lord Almighty, or those guiding values in which the poets communicate with their communities.
