Abstract

The research in this study aims to investigates into  the conditional clause (If clause)  and its related issues within the context of the conditional clauses mentioned in Surah Al-Hashr and Al-Mumtahinah, as well as the understanding of these issues by grammarians and interpreters.

The study also includes observing the structures and tools of the conditional clause in these two Surahs, and analyzing them in a detailed semantic study that is dichotomous into two parts: theoretical and applied.

This study is based on an analytical descriptive approach which interprets the structures based on the language itself.

The study leads to a number of results, including: how to employ the conditional clause in the conditional sentence  (If clause) and handle its related issues in order to achieve the appropriate syntactic structure which suits the larger semantic meaning, the intention of the speaker, and the desired outcome using the most gentle expression and precise wording.
