Abstract

The study aims at identifying the level of commitment of Jazan University students for practicing traffic education as it appears in Saudi traffic rule and its implemented regulation of their viewpoints and exploring effect of their viewpoints with classifiable variables' difference of the study. A questionnaire was formed of (95) items and distributed into in- tended sample concerned with owning or driving a private car as well as a random sample with regard to the study variables. Fittingly the random sample was formed of (791) students. The study reveals the following findings out: the individual sample's commitment of practicing traffic education is average. - - there are statistical and indicative differences between the means of students' viewpoints for level of their commitment of such practice for the academic level attributed to the advantages of the (final year students) the guardians' education level (post graduation). living in towns and getting a voucher for a traffic violation (for those who got it). - there are no statistical and indicative differences attributed to mother' education guard- ian's occupation mother's jobs and commission of traffic accidents.
