Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of teaching physical education using 3D animation on cognitive achievement and the development of long jump skills of primary school students. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher used the quasi-experimental method based the experimental and control group procedure. A 3D animation unit was designed to be taught to the experimental group while the control group was taught using the usual teaching strategy (explanation and model performance), The technical performance test of the long jump skill and the cognitive achievement test for the long jump skill was applied to the study groups before and after the implementation of the experiment. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of teaching physical education using three-dimensional animation in cognitive achievement and the development of the long jumping skill among primary school students.
In light of the results of the study, a number of recommendations and suggestions for future research were presented
