Abstract

This study aimed to detect the availability of positive moral values to deal with the technical content of the secondary school computer curricula in Saudi Arabia, and the extent to keep pace with contemporary changes and challenges; enabling them to instill those values that help students face technical problems. The study proposes a system of positive moral values to deal with the technical content that can be included in computer curriculum high school. The study sample consisted of the content of computer science curriculum for grades I to III secondary) and planned for Boys for the academic year 1432/1433 AH. Using the descriptive approach "method of content analysis". The researcher built a system of positive moral values to deal with technology as a tool for the study. After confirming the veracity of the tool and its stability has been used as an e-content analysis of the study sample curricula, it has been used to duplicate the percentages to answer questions. The results of the study showed a receipt of all proposed values in the content of school curricula; the study sample is complementary to varying degrees. There are values obtained at high frequencies, such as the moral value of the determinants of dealing with Technology. While some of the values received Petkrarat weak, such as the values of safety and security, and the proposed values have been received in various forms, including the following: texts and educational fees Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended a numbers of recommendations and proposals, including:

  • Review the content of the curricula in secondary education in general and strengthen the positive moral values to deal with the technology in light of the proposed system of values in the current study.
  • Include curriculum content in secondary school curricula, so students know the penalties applied to those who commit offenses, like "passive use of technology".
  • The need to build a national strategy to immunize students in secondary education in particular to face the cons of the use of technology and the positive use of technology.
