Al-Dhobiani is Described As the Best Arabic Poet in the Case of Fearfulness

Abstract

This research aims to investigate about the validity of an old critical judgment which is about the preference of four Arabic pre-Islamic era poets in specific uses of poetry and psychological situations. Al-Nabigha Al-Dhobiani, how is one of these four poets, is the subject of this research. Al-Dhobiani is described as the best Arabic poet in the case of fearfulness. He is considered in the fields of psychology and literary creativity. The research uses the features of his personality and poems reaching his feeling and the techniques f fearfulness in his poems. The method of this research is the deep reading in his poetical experience through a number of points. The most important point is the aspect of fearfulness with its contexts and implications besides to its appearances in the level of vocabulary, sentence format and image. The research is founded on scientific basis and practicing critical methodical approaches.
