The Role of Electronic Platforms in Developing Digital Education Skills in Light of The TPACK Model Among Middle School Teachers

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of electronic platforms in developing digital education skills in light of the TPACK model among middle school teachers. The descriptive survey method was used. The study population consisted of all middle school teachers in Medina, numbering (2856) teachers, from which a random sample of (320) teachers was drawn. The study tool was developed and consisted of (7) areas. The validity and reliability of the study tool were also verified according to approved scientific methods, and the reliability coefficient (Cronbach alpha) for the tool as a whole was (0.92).

The results of the study showed that the role of electronic platforms in developing digital education skills in light of the TIPAC model at the macro level was high. The study also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences in the role of electronic platforms in developing digital education skills in light of the TPACK model among middle school teachers due to the variables (Specialization, academic qualification, and teaching experience). The study reached many recommendations, Working to develop teachers’ technical skills using the TEPAC model, to keep pace with all changes in technical tools that will develop learning styles.
